Ricky L. Gowdy II
Ricky was born and raised in Indy and feels beyond blessed for the life he has today. He grew up an only child watching his mom run her beauty salon that she still owns today. She taught Ricky that his gifts would make way for him if he worked hard and always kept God first. Upon graduating from North Central High School, he earned a full-ride academic scholarship to IU Bloomington. He graduated with his Bachelor of Arts and began a career in Telecommunications.
In 2014 Ricky met his wife Marcella, and in 2016 they married in Costa Rica officially becoming a beautifully blended family. With the desire for more and a focus on the future, the husband and wife decided to become licensed real estate agents. Fast forward to 2020 they took a huge leap of faith, and began their own brokerage. Welcome to Gowdy Group Realty!
When Ricky isn’t hard at work, he can be found traveling, tinkering with home improvement projects, shamelessly embarrassing his children in public, and coaching the Steelers from the comfort of his recliner.
From the Southwest to the Midwest. Marcella was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico with two older siblings. Being a preacher's kid meant most of the family's time was dedicated to church, but those are cherished memories she wouldn't trade for the world. Her parents were a shining example of entrepreneurship as they opened and operated several businesses through the years.
Surrounded by her supportive village and armed with a bachelor's degree from NMSU, Marcella moved to Indianapolis with bright eyes and big ambition. She was offered a great paying job in the corporate world, but never lost sight of having something to call her own. In 2014 Marcella met Ricky and as the saying goes, "the rest was history!" The desire to pursue entrepreneurship was a common goal for the pair, so when the opportunity to start Gowdy Group Realty arose she knew the time had finally arrived.
Their family has grown larger and is now complete with two girls, Alivia and Aryea, and three boys, Ricky III, Mason, and Carter. In January 2021 Marcella completed a Marketing Certification Program at Indiana to learn the latest and best ways to serve her clients. In her downtime Marcella enjoys traveling, cooking, long pampering sessions, and playing practical jokes on her family.

Drain and disconnect all garden hoses from outside spigots to prevent your water from freezing. Failing to do so can result in your pipes bursting.
Clogged drains result in a flooded interior and damaged exterior. So clean them and if necessary, replace them.
